Navgujarat College Of Computer Application in Ashram Road was established in the year 1963 by Principal M. C. Shah with total number of students of 240 to provide the best education to the young students in the form of graduate course in Computer Science  and with a view to keep pace with 21st century’s modern technology. The college is affiliated to Gujarat University. As on today nearly 6500 students are studying in different colleges viz, Commerce, Arts, Law and Computer Science. Gujarat University has granted the affiliation to start this college in academic year 1999-2000. The college is well known for various initiatives in computer education at undergraduate level. The college has highly educated and experienced faculties having obtained Ph.D.,C.A, M.Phil degree in various subjects. The building is situated amidst well-known educational institution like Gujarat Vidyapith with State of Art infrastructure having all facilities for good educational environment.
