Navgujarat Arts & Commerce College in Ashram Road was established in the year 1963, renamed later in 1997, as Principal M.C. Shah Commerce College by Vidhyabhavan Trust, with its slogan “Earning while Learning” and the vision and lofty aim to provide excellence in professional education, commerce and management to meet the growing demands of organizations, industries, corporate and institutions in the future. The institute has campus with a total built up area of about 5500 sq.meters comprising a total of 28 well-furnished, well equipped and ventilated class rooms, an indoor sports room, a spacious reading room,  about 1400 sq.feet staff room, Ladies Room, an Auditorium, computer laboratory, Computerized Library with a total of over 34,000 books, Garden with lush green lawn, a big Parking area.
