L D Arts College in Navrangpura  is a co-educational Arts Colleges in Ahmedabad. The college was established in the year 1937 by Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai and named after his father Lalbhai Dalpatbhai with a view to inculcate the spirit of Indian culture and academics in students. It is managed by the Ahmedabad Education Society.

The college offers ten major ( English, Hindi, Geography, Sociology, Gujarati, Economics, Political Science, Sanskrit, Psychology, History.),  four subsidiary subjects ( Statistics, Office Management & Secretarial Practice, Computer Methods & Application, Advertisement & Sales Management) to undergraduates  and seven postgraduate subjects. The college also has a good alumni base with an alumni association holding regular meets.

The college has well equipped infrastructure built on 11.04 acres (44980 sq. mts.) and has a built up area of 1318.69 sq. mts. include Hostel facility with 36 rooms for separate accommodation for UG and PG students, 31 classroom, administrative office, Principal’s Office, well equipped library with reading room, Staff Room, Washroom Facilities, Psychology and Geography Labs, IGNOU & BAOU centers & Offices, Audio Visual Room for IGNOU, BAOU, CWDC and Vocational Courses, Computer Labs with updated hardware & software, office for Vocational Courses, canteen and round the clock security.

It has large grounds used for celebrating national days, College day and other events, spacious hall utilized for the practice and performance of cultural events, Gymkhana mainly used for Table-tennis, Badminton and other indoor games, for outdoor sports, it has tennis court, volleyball court, cricket and football grounds also used for inter-college and University tournaments.
